Your safari driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or residence early in the morning at 6.00 am. After a short meet and greet and briefing by Nesh Tours and Safaris representative, you’ll proceed to the Nairobi National Park, Kenya’s only wildlife park located within a capital city — a true gem just minutes away from the city center. Enjoy an exciting morning game drive through the park, where you may encounter lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, ostriches, and some bird species. Against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline, it’s a perfect blend of wilderness and city life. Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll witness the heartwarming work of rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned baby elephants. The daily public viewing takes place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, where the elephants are fed and enjoy their mud bath. After an inspiring visit, enjoy lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens and Cottages or Carnivore Restaurant or any other preferred place (at own cost). Later, proceed to the nearby Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Here, you’ll have the delightful opportunity to hand-feed and even take photos up close with these gentle giants. After an unforgettable day with Nairobi’s finest wildlife encounters, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel or airport with memories to last a lifetime.
