Secure your flight to Ghana and ensure you have your yellow fever vaccination certificate and valid visa ready before travel. While visas are sometimes available on arrival—especially in December—it’s strongly recommended to obtain yours in advance for a smooth entry process.
Most flights depart from major U.S. airports, with direct options available to Accra. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed at the airport by our Safari N Smiles team and transferred in comfort to your hotel.
Your first night’s stay will be at Accra City Hotel or a similar bed-and-breakfast-style property, with all meals included. Check-in typically begins at 12 PM, and given that most flights arrive after 4 PM, a welcome group dinner will be the only meal provided on this day—offering the perfect opportunity to meet fellow travelers and start your Ghana adventure.
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the scenic Aburi Botanical Gardens, just a short drive from Accra. These historic colonial gardens showcase a rich variety of tropical plants and offer a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery.
After exploring the gardens, join a relaxed group session where participants can introduce themselves, network, and share their business journeys.
Enjoy lunch at the picturesque Peduase Valley Resort, set against stunning natural backdrops, before continuing to Tette Quarshie Cocoa Farm—Ghana’s first cocoa farm. Here, you’ll uncover the fascinating history of cocoa cultivation and its role in Ghana’s agricultural heritage.
Return to Accra in the evening for a leisurely dinner and time to unwind, reflecting on a day filled with culture, connection, and discovery.
Leave behind the vibrant streets of Accra and head to Akosombo, one of Ghana’s most celebrated nature destinations. Nestled in the serene Akosombo mountains and overlooking Volta Lake, the multi-award-winning BridgeView Resort offers stunning views, luxurious comfort, and a peaceful retreat from city life.
Each room features breathtaking vistas of the Adomi Bridge, Volta Lake, and surrounding mountains, creating the perfect setting for relaxation.
Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch before taking time to unwind. In the afternoon, set out on a scenic boat ride beneath the iconic Adomi Bridge—Ghana’s longest suspension bridge—linking Atimpoku to the Volta Region. This remarkable landmark stands as a symbol of connectivity and progress, while offering unforgettable photo opportunities.
Return to BridgeView Resort for an evening at leisure, soaking in the tranquil surroundings and natural beauty of this remarkable destination.
Start the morning with a hearty breakfast before setting off on a full-day adventure combining wildlife encounters and natural wonders.
Your first destination is the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, home to the friendly and playful Mona monkeys. Stroll through the lush surroundings, learn about the sanctuary’s conservation efforts, and enjoy the rare chance to interact with these charming creatures in their natural habitat.
Next, journey to the majestic Wli Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in Ghana. Surrounded by tropical greenery, the cascading waters create a breathtaking scene—perfect for photography, relaxation, and soaking in Ghana’s pristine beauty.
While the day includes about three hours of driving each way, the experiences along the route make the trip worthwhile. Midday, savor a delicious lunch at a local café, enjoying authentic Ghanaian flavors.
Return to your hotel in the evening for a relaxing dinner and time to reflect on a day filled with awe-inspiring landscapes, cultural connection, and unforgettable memories.
Begin your day early with a journey to Kakum National Park, located within the Assin Attandanso Reserve. This lush rainforest is home to Ghana’s famous canopy walkway—seven suspension bridges stretching 333 meters in total, suspended 27 meters above the forest floor. As you walk among trees over 300 years old, enjoy panoramic views and the sounds of the thriving forest below.
After a refreshing lunch at a local restaurant or en route, continue to Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that bears witness to the dark history of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Explore the stark dungeons, historical exhibits, and the moving “Door of No Return”, a symbol of resilience and remembrance.
Conclude your day at Ridge Royal Hotel, where you can unwind and reflect on both the natural wonders and powerful history experienced today.

EXCELLENT Based on 134 reviews Herry Brock2025-06-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The accommodation arrangements were not as advertised. We ended up staying in subpar lodges that were far below the quality promised. Additionally, the vehicles used for safaris were uncomfortable and poorly maintained Jonson Charls2025-06-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Customer service was terrible. It took days to get a response to my inquiries, and when I finally did, the staff was dismissive and uncooperative. The trip itself also fell short of expectations, with poorly organized activities. Anderson A2025-06-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had high expectations, but Nesh Tours & Safaris was very disappointing. The itinerary was not followed as promised, and the guides were unprofessional and unhelpful. The whole team was amazing—Stella coordinated everything flawlessly, Humphrey was warm and professional, and Joseph was a master with the camera. We saw so much wildlife at Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and then got to unwind in beautiful Diani. Every day was better than the last. Book with them—you won’t regret it.
