Your Kenya safari begins upon arrival in Nairobi, where the Nesh Tours & Safaris team will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. After a short safari briefing, you will begin your journey to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The drive offers beautiful views of rural Kenya, open plains, and changing landscapes as you head toward the southern part of the country.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli. This is your first opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, gazelles, wildebeest, and possibly lions.

Wake up early for a beautiful morning in Amboseli. The early hours are one of the best times for wildlife viewing, and if the skies are clear, you may enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising behind the park.
Today is dedicated to exploring Amboseli’s wildlife-rich plains, swamps, and open grasslands. The park is especially known for its large elephant families, many of which can be seen walking across the plains or feeding near the swamp areas. You may also encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species.
Depending on your lodge location and safari plan, you can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. An optional Maasai village visit can also be arranged for guests who would like to learn more about the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the local Maasai community.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and begin your journey toward Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake located in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. This scenic transfer allows you to enjoy views of local towns, countryside, and the dramatic landscapes of the Rift Valley.
Lake Naivasha is known for its peaceful atmosphere, hippos, birdlife, and scenic boat safaris. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or resort and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you may take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos in the water and many bird species along the lake shore.
Guests may also choose to visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. This unique experience allows you to walk among giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other plains wildlife in a relaxed and scenic environment.

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most rewarding parks for rhino viewing and birdwatching. The drive is relatively short, allowing you more time to enjoy the park.
Lake Nakuru National Park is home to both black and white rhinos, making it one of the best destinations in Kenya for travelers hoping to see these incredible animals. The park also offers chances to see Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, lions, leopards, and seasonal flamingos.
Enjoy a game drive through the park’s different habitats, including lakeshore areas, woodland, grasslands, and viewpoints. The combination of wildlife and scenery makes Lake Nakuru a beautiful stop on this 7-day Kenya safari itinerary.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and travel toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This is one of the most exciting days of your safari, as you head toward Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destination.
The Masai Mara is known for its wide open plains, high concentration of big cats, Big Five wildlife, and the Great Migration season. The drive takes you through the Rift Valley and rural landscapes before entering the Mara region.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara. This reserve offers excellent opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and possibly leopards.

Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible Masai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full day of game viewing across the Mara’s endless plains.
The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s best safari destinations for seeing lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and many antelope species. During the Great Migration season, usually from July to October, the Mara becomes one of the most dramatic wildlife viewing areas in the world as wildebeest and zebras move between the Serengeti and Masai Mara.
You may enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch before heading out again in the afternoon. Optional experiences include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise or a Maasai village visit.

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge or camp before beginning the drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Nairobi hotel, or a local restaurant for a final meal before departure.
This marks the end of your 7-day Kenya safari from Washington DC with Nesh Tours & Safaris. You leave with unforgettable memories of elephants beneath Kilimanjaro, boat rides on Lake Naivasha, rhino viewing in Lake Nakuru, and thrilling Big Five game drives in the Masai Mara.

Nesh Tours is a gem. The whole team was amazing—Stella coordinated everything flawlessly, Humphrey was warm and professional, and Joseph was a master with the camera. We saw so much wildlife at Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and then got to unwind in beautiful Diani. Every day was better than the last. Book with them—you won’t regret it.Posted on PATRICKTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
